VETERANS’ HEARING FUND
As a Regt veteran, it’s probably inevitable that you suffer from some form of hearing loss. If that’s the case, and you are in receipt of a War Pension (WP), Armed Forces’ Compensation Scheme (AFCS) award, or have MOD-provided hearing aids, read on…. The RBL has a Veterans’ Hearing Fund (VHF) that will, among other things, upgrade your current NHS-provided hearing aids to a more sophisticated version. Subject to an eligibility check, based upon providing proof of the hearing loss being occasioned as a result of Service in the Armed Forces, the RBL will consider providing suitable funding. If you wish to apply to the VHF, complete the attached form and send it, with documentary proof of your WP, AFCS entitlement, to the RBL at the address shown on the covering letter. Application screening and approval may take up to 5 months. [Posted 120619]
