A reminder, if I may. Should you intend marching this year at the Remembrance Parade in London whether as a member or non member of the Association, you must be registered and be in possession of a ticket with your name on it. As previously mentioned in various correspondence, security, for obvious reasons, will be at the top of the Agenda and; therefore, the police will not allow you entry to Horse Guards unless you have a ticket with your name on and two forms of ID; one showing your address and another with your photograph on it, ie passport.
We have been given a very good allocation of tickets this year by the RBL and unless we use them it is almost certain that our allocation for 2017 will be reduced. That would be a great pity as next year is our 75th and I am sure many of you intend to march; we may even be the lead contingent.
I am aware that some of you are not happy with the rules applied by the RBL but they are for our own safety and registering with David Gooding only takes a few minutes to complete the necessary paperwork. Numbers are a bit low at the moment, so please let’s make maximum use of our ticket allocation.
I look forward to seeing you all on the 13th November for the parade and afterwards on the boat for a beer or two and the singing of Rock songs.
Very best wishes
