RAF Regiment Fund Update
Regular readers will be aware that the Fund has been experiencing problems with its transfer from the military banking system a civilian bank (prompted by the hasty implementation of Charity Commission rules within the Armed Services). While the actual transfer of funds has now taken place, the change for the Direct Debits (DDs) has been unsuccessful for the coming Subscription: Year, 2007-8. As a result, the current DD Mandates will remain in place for now and, therefore, there is no action required on the part of Members at this time, unless the subscription was taken out between 1 Nov 06 and 1 Mar 07, when the forms contained an incorrect bank reference supplied by the bank itself. We apologise for any inconvenience caused.
RAF Regiment Fund Grants Awarded - Jun 06 to Jun 07
Listed below are the grants and disbursements made by the RAF Regt Fund Committee in the period Jun 06 to Jun 07. Application by RAF Regt Fund Members may be submitted up to one month prior to the quarterly Committee Meeting, nominally in mid - Sep, mid-Dec, mid-Mar and mid-Jun each year. Application forms may be obtained from the Secretary, RAFRegt Fund at RAF Honington. A Unit may also apply for a grant, but the support provided would be relevant to the unit’s Fund Membership status Fund Grants may not be used for ‘hospitality’ (ie refreshment or memento) purposes and a strict condition ofthe award is that a suitable article is supplied subsequently for the Centurion journal.
